Our Core Goals
To provide an education to poor children. Athough education is officially free the government covers the cost of the teachers’ salaries only; everything else – desks, books, stationary, and uniforms – must provided by the students. As a result, families struggling with poverty cannot afford to send their children to school.
To improve the living standards of children and young people in impoverished families. With care and love we improve living conditions such as sanitation, bedding, roofing, nourishment, medical and psychiatric care, as well as help our graduating students plan for the future with advice on careers and small business start-up schemes.
To promote Christian teaching, family guidance and counselling. We help children from all backgrounds and faiths, but through Christian teaching we provide a sense of community by running Sunday school, children’s holiday weeks, pastoral visits, women’s welfare groups and Bible studies.
